Whites of Wexford are now recruiting for an experienced Night Manager to join our established Management Team.
Responsibilities: Prepares for each shift by ensuring awareness of all information by taking part in handover with the PM shift and again with the AM shift Handle any late guest check-ins to Resort standard & any early morning departures Handle all duties according to hotel policies, procedures, internal rules and standards.
Be familiar with the hotels SOP's Be able to perform the duties of the bell staff when required Be knowledgeable about daily hotel operations & events Lead by example in always answering the phone to the standards of proper etiquette Strive to represent the hotel in the most professional, courteous and efficient manner possible Assess and report potential loss situations in the Resort in order that accidental profit loss may be prevented Assess and report potential safety hazards in order that remedial actions are taken Assists in the supervision and application of the key control system for the entire Resort Ensures the night audit is carried out and any problems with Hotsoft or Volante are reported Ensures the front and back of house area is always kept clean and tidy and hazard free Ensures any room service calls or wake up calls during the night are completed as per Resort standards Ensures all security and hotel records are maintained in the manner instructed by the Front Office Ensures personal compliance with Health and Safety, Fire and Hygiene regulations and ensures that staff are fully aware of their responsibilities in this respect and comply with them. The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience in a 4-5* property High level of attention to detail and standards of cleanliness Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient with general office PC applications Ability to delegate and multitask Working knowledge of Hotsoft
