Oradeo Recruitment is currently recruiting for a BIM Technician on behalf of one of our clients who is a market leading specialist engineering construction company, headquartered in the Dublin area with regional offices in the UK.
This new role is for a BIM Technician with 5+ years’ experience in the construction industry and a good working knowledge of building regulations and construction details.
Responsibilities:
* Partnering with Engineers and modellers to produce precast concrete elements and associated items within a 3D model environment.
* Liaise with external design team members regularly.
* Production of 3D model files through Revit/Tekla.
* Production of 2D co-ordination and installation drawings.
* Ensuring detailed model files are co-ordinated.
* Attend site as required to confirm drawings/model accuracy.
* Ability to prioritise workload.
* Carry out other duties as directed by your manager.
* Produce accurate, consistent, and professional records, reports, and general information.
* Support completion of associated external facade works in accordance with the Program.
* Ensure work is carried out to the highest quality and safety standards.
* Manage buildability issues related to the external envelope.
Necessary Requirements:
* Relevant Architectural, Engineering or Construction Qualification.
* Minimum 5 Years’ Experience (Precast Experience preferred).
* Experience using 3D BIM Environment via workflow.
* Strong detailing/modelling experience.
* Technical and practical knowledge of the building industry.
* Advanced knowledge of MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and industry-specific software.
* Excellent written and oral presentation skills.
* Ability to work on own initiative.
* Self-starter capable of delivering targets and deadlines.
