A leading retail bank are seeking a Regulatory Compliance
Analyst to work in the Compliance and Assurance team. The role is being offered
on a permanent basis and offers a strong benefits package along with a hybrid
working model. In this role you will operate on the second line of defence and
provide support to stakeholders on wholesale conduct and markets regulation
matters, including offering advice, critically assessing regulatory solutions
and contributing towards project delivery. You will be a key figure for
regulatory compliance interaction across the business lines.Key responsibilities for the Regulatory Compliance Analyst
are:Engage with key business stakeholders i.e.
Treasury, Wealth Management & Risk, to provide regulatory updatesManage the application of Mifid regulatory
requirements for the GroupEnsure that all compliance and conduct risks are
identified, assessed and effectively managed / mitigated and all regulatory
requirements are metIdentify key conduct regulation risks and
communicate these clearly and concisely to impacted business areasContribute to the Compliance plan by offering
key compliance strategic advice to the senior teamCommunicate complex regulatory themes on topics
such as MiFID, Consumer Protection and Product Governance through advice to
business units, policy development and internal governanceRequirementsAt least 4 years’ experience in Compliance
within Financial Services with a focus on second line compliance activitiesKnowledge and experience working with Mifid is
essential to the roleAn understanding of aspects of current and
upcoming regulation with an ability to review regulatory impact assessments on
new and amending upstream regulationHighly motivated, with a proven ability to work
on own initiative within a challenging and dynamic work environment, with
excellent communication skills (both spoken and written), interpersonal skills
and people skillsHave a proven experience in managing
