We are looking for an experienced and motivated Practice Manager / Business Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy practice in Cavan. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and organizational skills, with experience in managing a healthcare or business environment. Key Responsibilities: Practice Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the practice, ensuring all procedures run efficiently and effectively. Staff Management: Lead, manage, and support the team, including recruitment, scheduling, performance reviews, and ongoing staff development. Financial Management: Manage the practices financial performance, including budgeting, financial reporting, invoicing, payroll, and cost control to ensure profitability. Compliance & Quality Control: Ensure the practice meets all regulatory standards and protocols, including health and safety, data protection, and clinical governance. Patient Management: Maintain excellent patient relations by overseeing customer service, addressing complaints or concerns, and ensuring a high standard of patient care. Business Development: Identify growth opportunities, improve patient retention, and expand the practices services to drive revenue and market share. Supplier & Vendor Management: Liaise with suppliers and external vendors for the smooth running of operations, including equipment, inventory, and service contracts. Appointment Scheduling & Workflow: Ensure smooth scheduling and daily workflow to maximize efficiency, reduce waiting times, and improve patient satisfaction. Marketing & Community Engagement: Develop marketing strategies to promote the practice, build relationships within the community, and increase patient referrals. Reporting & Communication: Provide regular reports and updates to the senior leadership team regarding the practices performance and future plans. Requirements: Proven experience in practice management or a business management role, ideally in a healthcare or similar environment. Strong leadership and team management skills with experience in staff recruitment and performance management. Financial acumen and experience managing budgets, costs, and financial reporting. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a focus on efficiency and process improvement. Familiarity with healthcare compliance and regulatory standards. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations and maintain patient confidentiality.
