About The Role & Team
As a Management - Technical Delivery Manager, you are responsible for a portfolio of applications and systems, and their evolution, overseeing the successful delivery of Data & API s portfolio products/systems, ensuring they meet quality standards and align with customer expectations.
You will be accountable for managing cross-functional teams, coordinating resources, and mitigating risks to ensure project success.
Reporting to the T&E CDE portfolio CTO, you will be a part of the T&E CDE management team responsible for developing solutions for the CD&E portfolio.
This role may require occasional travel to development locations to ensure alignment and effective communication with stakeholders.
What You'll Do
Lead and manage your portfolio, ensuring efficient and modern technology, addressing technical debt and keeping skilled staff motivated.
Lead the budgeting, planning, execution, and delivery of the portfolio, managing products & projects, ensuring they align with strategic goals.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope, timelines, and budgets.
Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing issues or risks to keep the project on track.
Foster a collaborative environment by coordinating cross-functional teams, including software, devops, and quality engineers, and support staff.
Implement and promote best practices in software development (with a clear focus on data management) and Agile methodologies.
Ensure thorough quality assurance processes are in place to meet product standards and customer expectations.
Manage stakeholder communications, providing regular updates and gathering feedback for continuous improvement.
Identify opportunities for process improvements, optimizing delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all project phases, ensuring knowledge transfer and continuity.
Mentor and develop team members, promoting a culture of growth, learning, and accountability.
Manage external providers (resource identification, scope of work definition).
Qualifications
ABOUT YOUR SKILLS
Proven experience in project management, particularly in software development and delivery.
Strong technical background in software engineering, with a solid understanding of product lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer sciences or engineering.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to think critically and strategically, balancing technical and business needs effectively.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards.
Experience with risk management and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with modern data platforms and integration solutions.
Knowledge of DevOps practices and cloud technologies.
Proficient in using project management tools and methodologies to track progress and deliverables.
Strong organizational skills, with a focus on detail and results-driven outcomes.
Ability to mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative team culture.
