Head of Strategic Infrastructure & Technology In this role you will lead the roll out of the integrated technology & infrastructure initiatives to ensure this organisation's success in the renewable energy market.
Those initiatives include offshore wind, thermal, flextech and e-fuels.
The Role: Strategic Technology Portfolio Management Develop a roadmap for technology deployment and infrastructure investments that supports sustainable growth and operational efficiency Work closely with the Commercial Strategy and Route to Market team to develop project proposals and business cases that support key decisions.
Lead a team of technology and infrastructure experts to provide the necessary data and insights to facilitate informed decisions.
Drive the development of a comprehensive grid and infrastructure plan that aligns with national energy policies and industry standards, ensuring future readiness and scalability.
Collaborate with EirGrid,CRU GNI, Uisce Eireann and others to agree on infrastructure requirements, timelines, and investment strategies.
Formulate and implement a future market plan that protects the organisation's interests and positions it favourably within the evolving energy landscape.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices, conducting research to inform strategic decisions and drive innovation within the organisation.
Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, regulatory bodies, industry partners, and other stakeholders to foster collaboration and support for infrastructure projects.
Lead management of joint venture partners or key stakeholders in the key technology or infrastructure development segments.
Who are you: You have an Honours Degree in Engineering, Commercial, or Renewable Energy fields Postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline such as Engineering, Management or Commercial would be highly desired Minimum of 10 years' experience in Renewable Energy or Infrastructure Planning and Investment Proven track record of managing large-scale projects Demonstrated experience collaborating with regulatory bodies and key stakeholders Experience within sectors such as Renewable Energy, Power Generation, Strong leadership skills with a results-oriented mindset Proficiency in customer management and managing commercial contracts o Knowledge of energy policy and regulatory environments Skills: Renewable Energy Power Generation Technology Strategy development Project Management Benefits: Work From Home
