Morgan McKinley is delighted to support one of our clients who require a Global Indirect Tax Analyst to join the team on a fixed-term contract until December 2025.
This role will provide crucial support to the Senior Manager Global Indirect Tax on time-sensitive projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating and supervising assigned projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
* Project Support
* Assist in delivering assigned projects according to established timelines.
* Coordinate project activities, including testing and deliverables.
* Provide support to Regional Indirect Tax Teams on project and operational tasks as needed.
* Project Management
* Support the planning, managing, and delivery of projects from initiation to close, meeting agreed business and technical objectives.
* Contribute to the coordination of work across multiple global functions, understanding business operations and tax impact areas.
* Maintain accountability and ownership for assigned tasks and projects.
* Drive for results, maintaining a focused commitment to achieving project goals and objectives.
* Communication and Collaboration
* Support communication with regional teams as required.
* Maintain a professional and collaborative working relationship.
Qualifications and Competencies:
* Education
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance, or a related business field.
* Experience
* 1-3 years of experience in a project support role (ideal).
* Indirect tax knowledge or project support background (a plus).
* Skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (required).
* Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Knowledge of SAP or Vertex tax engine (a plus).
* Strong organizational and time-management skills.
