Assistant Professor in Political Science and Qualitative Methods
The Department of Political Science, School of Social Sciences and Philosophy at Trinity College Dublin is seeking to appoint an Assistant Professor in Political Science and Qualitative Methods. This tenure-track position will commence on September 1, 2024.
Key Responsibilities:
* Teach modules in qualitative research methods, including case studies, process tracing, and interviews.
* Teach courses in substantive areas of politics, such as comparative politics, international relations, and political communication.
* Conduct postgraduate research supervision and contribute to the administration of the program and/or department.
Requirements:
* Ph.D. in Political Science or related field.
* Experience in teaching qualitative research methods and substantive areas of politics.
* Strong research profile with a focus on qualitative methods.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
