Quantity Surveyor Job Description
A leading cost consultancy in Dublin is seeking to recruit Quantity Surveyors at various levels. With over 20 years of success in the Irish market, they offer a collaborative and dynamic environment where Quantity Surveyors can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain comprehensive cost plans and budget estimates
* Lead value engineering exercises, identifying risks and opportunities for savings
* Review and evaluate tenders, ensuring alignment with project goals and specifications
* Assess interim valuations and manage negotiations around project variations
* Maintain expert cost reporting and ensure smooth settlement of final accounts
Requirements:
* Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related field
* Membership with SCSI / RICS (or working towards professional membership)
* 3+ years experience within a cost consultancy or developer environment
* Proven ability to compile cost reports, valuations, claims, and contracts
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Highly driven, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional results
