QC Sample Coordinator Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented QC Sample Coordinator to join our team in Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved with the development and production of veterinary vaccines at our client's Centre of Excellence, the largest centre in the industry worldwide.
Job Summary:
The QC Sample Coordinator will act as the point of contact for sample management in the QC Laboratory, ensuring that all samples are managed efficiently from receipt to disposal. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and be able to identify gaps in processes or systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage QC samples from receipt to disposal, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with cGMP regulations.
* Prepare documents and coordinate sample movement within the Laboratory.
* Review eLogs and/or LIMS to align physical quantities of samples in freezers/refrigerators.
* Take ownership of processes related to sample handling, including oversight of freezers/refrigerator clean schedules.
* Perform or support sample management related non-conformance investigations.
* Support Internal and Regulatory Audits.
Requirements:
* Strong understanding of cGMP regulations and practices.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
* Experience with Lab management software system (LIMS).
* Degree preferred, ideally in a related discipline.
* Understanding of Lean Six Sigma Methodology preferred.
Estimated Salary:
€45,000 - €60,000 per annum.
