Tax Director Limerick
Our Client
A leading professional services firm with offices nationwide now have an opening for a Tax Director or Senior Tax Manager with a minimum of 5 years' practice experience to join their growing team based in their Limerick office.
The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious individual to work closely with partners and senior management while having responsibility for the management of the Taxation team.
You will have the opportunity to work with a large portfolio of indigenous owner managed and internationally owned businesses from a range of industries, including technology, R&D, manufacturing, distribution, retail, and transport.
This position requires experience in providing practical and innovative tax-based business solutions, including a mix of advisory and compliance services.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing the team in maintaining and developing the firm's relationship with a portfolio of clients.
* Ensuring that payment and return filing deadlines are met for a portfolio of clients across all tax heads.
* Working with partners on advising clients on potential structures suitable for their business, M&A, and succession planning opportunities.
* Acting as a key member of an integrated client service team working on a wide range of assignments, including tax advisory projects.
* Contributing towards collective targets for billing, net fee income, and cash collection, as well as personal and firm-wide goals.
Ideal Candidate
* CTA qualified and a qualified accountant.
* Strong practice background with previous experience operating at Senior Manager or Director level.
* In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in interpreting Irish Tax legislation, relevant commentary, and case law.
* Experience of working in corporation tax compliance, including on larger corporates and on tax consultancy assignments.
* Experience of managing client relationships and projects to completion.
* Comfortable training, supervising, and delegating to staff.
