Job Description
We are hiring a Physiotherapist to join our hospital team in Dublin, Ireland.
This is a permanent, full-time position requiring 37 hours of work per week.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain a clinical caseload suitable for the position and oversee client assessments, treatment plans, and goal establishment.
* Collaborate with clients, families, and team members to ensure effective communication and service delivery.
* Establish good lines of communication and offer support, direction, and education to service users, their families, carers, and others.
* Maintain accurate client records in compliance with departmental guidelines and professional standards.
* Provide physiotherapy services in various settings within the allotted time frame, adhering to local policies and rules.
* Promote professional norms concerning ethics, secrecy, and the law while practicing physiotherapy within your own scope.
* Cultivate adequate understanding of cardiac, neuro, and orthopaedic rehabilitation, as well as experience working with senior citizens.
Requirements:
* Be listed (or in the process of being listed) on the CORU Physiotherapists Registration Board's Physiotherapists Register.
* Possess two to three years of full-time post-qualification clinical experience, or three years total.
* Hold a physiotherapy degree or a comparable credential and be qualified to join the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists.
* Demonstrate established management and clinical expertise in mental health, older adults, frail elderly people, and/or palliative care, as well as related medical disorders.
* Advantageous to have prior experience working with Huntington's patients and in a mental health setting.
* Display a solid understanding of health, safety, and other legal requirements impacting healthcare organisations.
* Demonstrate outstanding expertise and abilities in people management.
