Job Title: Field Service Engineer
CPL is partnering with a leading supplier, installer, and after-sales maintenance provider in the industrial compressor sector.
The company has a vast portfolio of clients nationwide and is continuing to grow its Compressor Sales and Service business. They are now looking to recruit 2 Field Service Engineers for Cork and Dublin.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
* Carry out scheduled or unscheduled maintenance work on installations.
* Provide a complete level of service to customers on-site including commissioning, fault-finding, servicing, maintaining, repairing, calibrating, and validating all equipment and applications.
* Diagnose and implement all reactive maintenance work on both client's installations and other user's installations.
* Evaluate customer satisfaction with the product and service provided.
* Promote efficient service operations to achieve good performance.
* Maximize availability and uptime by effecting first-time fixes wherever possible.
* Attend training courses when required and acquire a good working knowledge of the Company's Equipment and Applications.
* Review technical documentation and write accurate technical reports.
Additional Information & Requirements:
* This role requires the Field Service Engineer to work unsupervised on customer sites primarily in Cork, Dublin, and surrounding areas.
* The Field Service Engineer must demonstrate a good understanding and appreciation for delivering excellent customer service and ensuring that work is always completed professionally and competently.
* The Field Service Engineer takes ownership, accountability, and responsibility for the role and represents the company as the face of the organization.
* The Field Service Engineer should be a team player with a friendly and outgoing disposition.
* The Field Service Engineer should be punctual, motivated, and an organized self-starter who completes work efficiently and effectively.
* Previous experience in an industrial electrical or mechanical position; Mechanical or electrical qualification is preferred.
