Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join a reputable organisation as a Qualified Occupational Health Nurse. You will have the flexibility to work Monday to Friday or 4 days over 5, with remote working options available. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive occupational health and well-being services, while overseeing administrative and operational activities.
The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced OH Nurse to lead our occupational health surveillance efforts. Key responsibilities include:
* Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements related to clinical operations
* Securing and developing all records, equipment and programmes related to occupational health services
* Coordinating completion of VDU Ergonomics programme and completion and assessment of same
* Developing return to work plans following serious injury or a period of prolonged ill health
* Providing relevant reports/updates to Managers
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A recognised qualification in Occupational Health
* Registered General Nurse with a valid NMBI registration
* Competency in Audiometry, Spirometry, Vision screening, phlebotomy, VDU ergonomics & administration of vaccines
* Excellent communication skills with strong interpersonal, empathy and listening skills
* Strong organisational and planning skills including time management with proven track record of prioritizing key tasks and delivery to a high professional standard
* Minimum of 2 years plus of experience in occupational health nursing
