Our Client is a leading, innovative manufacturer of bespoke solid wood furniture. Our portfolio includes projects in Europe, USA, Canada, and Australia. Our work can be seen in churches, cathedrals, and public buildings throughout Ireland, the UK, and beyond. Due to ongoing growth, the company requires a wood machinist. This is a superb opportunity for a candidate with 3-5 years' experience to join a well-established company.
Duties:
1. Carry out assembly operations to meet production requirements.
2. Ensure good housekeeping is maintained in your work area.
3. Work with factory operatives and train them in safe work practices.
4. Maintain quality standards on products being manufactured.
5. Inspect work to ensure it meets quality standards.
6. Work with the production manager to achieve production requirements.
7. Carry out machine operations as required.
8. Set up and operate machinery.
Experience:
1. 3-5 years' experience in a similar role.
2. Good English communication skills.
3. Ability to read workshop drawings.
4. Ability to work independently.
5. Experience working within a team environment.
6. Ability to work to a high standard.
7. Ability to meet deadlines.
8. Flexibility to work overtime when required.
