Position Details
* Role: Senior Speech & Language Therapist
* Location: CHO8 Meath CDNT 4 Dunshaughlin / East Meath, based in Bettystown
* Contract Type: Permanent Full Time
* Hours: 35 hours per week (1.0 WTE)
* Salary Scale: €57,771 to €68,387 pro rata per annum, subject to Long Service Increments
* Annual Leave: 33 days pro rata per annum, less for less than 12 months of service
Role Overview
To work as a senior member of the interdisciplinary team providing services to children and families. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnostics, intervention, supervision, and ongoing service delivery to children aged 0-18 years with various disabilities, including physical, sensory, learning disabilities, developmental delay, and autism. Services include work in special schools.

Candidate Requirements
Essential Criteria
* Registered or eligible for registration as a Speech & Language Therapist with CORU
* At least 3 years of full-time post-qualification clinical experience
* Demonstrated knowledge and professional ability to perform the duties
* Proof of statutory registration with CORU before employment
* Maintain annual registration with CORU
* Eligibility to work in the state
* Post-qualification experience working with children with disabilities/delays and their families
* Valid driving license and access to transport for service delivery across a large area
Desirable Criteria
* Postgraduate training in FEDS disorders management
* Postgraduate training specific to 0-18 years
* Experience in conducting Assessment of Need
* Training in assessment and intervention for children with autism
* Experience in clinical supervision
