Auburn Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Mixed Veterinary Surgeon to join their team.
The Role:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Mixed Veterinary Surgeon to cover maternity leave. The role will be 70% small animal work, including routine surgery, diagnostics, and emergency cases. The remaining 30% will involve large animal work, including general farm calls and calving/sections.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine surgery, diagnostics, and emergency cases in small animals
* Carry out general farm calls and calving/sections in large animals
* Work closely with the veterinary team to provide excellent patient care
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and referring vets
Requirements:
* VCI Registered Veterinary Surgeon eligible to work in Ireland
* Competent in basic and routine surgery in small animals (e.g. spays, castrations, lump removals)
* Competent in calving/sections in large animals
* All levels of experience will be considered
