Job Title: Facilities Maintenance & Engineering Manager
The ideal candidate will oversee the facilities maintenance and engineering for 4 distribution centres across Dublin and Cork. This is a hybrid working role that requires regular visits to each property while also allowing for home working.
Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee building services (M&E), refrigeration systems, racking, MHE and automation
· Manage and deliver CAPEX projects across the portfolio
· Ensure adherence to compliance/health and safety regulations
· Manage and lead a team of engineers and facilities staff
· Develop and implement proactive maintenance schedules
· Work closely with senior management to develop strategic facilities plans
· Manage external contractors and suppliers
· Monitor and manage budgets for the facilities department
· Implement and manage energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives
Requirements:
· Degree in Engineering or related field (desirable)
· Previous experience in multi-site Facilities Management role within logistics sector
· Understanding/knowledge of refrigeration systems advantageous
· IOSH/NEBOSH Certification
· Knowledge of compliance/health and safety regulations
· Strong problem-solving abilities
· Excellent communication skills
· Proactive approach to maintenance and improvement
