BMS/EMS Facilities Engineer 2
This is a unique opportunity to join our team and make a real difference in people's lives. As a Facilities Engineer, you will be responsible for providing engineering support, troubleshooting, and subject matter expertise for our first European manufacturing site in Athenry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the installation and commissioning of EMS & BMS systems and provide support on site post-installation.
* Lead project engineering on EMS/BMS systems, including HVAC, lighting, and security systems.
* Assist in design review, site acceptance, and equipment installation.
* Support QA Validation with technical input into design documents and assist in protocol execution.
* Develop and implement an asset management program/strategy.
* Deliver site SME for EMS/BMS and ensure its smooth operation.
* Interpret P&IDs, equipment/system layouts, wiring diagrams, and specifications for maintenance and repairs.
* Supervise 3rd party support for EMS/BMS system.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment by enforcing procedures, policies, and regulations.
* Conduct troubleshooting for complex plant equipment issues and recommend corrective actions.
* Ensure out-of-hours engineering support personnel are up-to-date on EMS/BMS systems.
* Support company safety and quality programs and initiatives.
* Provide support to manufacturing and maintenance as required.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or Master's degree with equivalent experience.
* Minimum 2-5 years' related experience or equivalent experience based on education level.
* Experience installing, servicing, or commissioning EMS/BMS systems is required.
* Familiarization with BMS & EMS systems would be advantageous.
* Proven experience of cGMP clean/grey utilities, HVAC equipment, piping, ducting, and/or controls.
* Knowledge and experience of ISO 14001, ISO 50001, ISO 55000.
* Exposure to facilities equipment best-practice maintenance, CMMS, and RCM.
* Excellent communication/organisation skills with ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation.
* Applicable knowledge of CAPA process.
