We are looking for a detail-oriented Electrical Project Manager (Electrician) with proven experience in emergency lighting and fire alarm systems - relocation to Carlow, Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage all aspects of project execution, ensuring timely and budget-friendly completion.
2. Attend pre-tender meetings and surveys, conveying critical information for accurate proposal preparation.
3. Develop project plans and optimise cost-effectiveness through value engineering strategies.
4. Manage project budgets, scopes, and timelines in alignment with client and company expectations.
5. Supervise the procurement of necessary materials and labour for projects.
6. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and preparation of related documentation.
7. Attend on-site project meetings to monitor progress and detect issues early.
8. Ensure projects are in line with relevant national standards and industry best practices.
9. Manage subcontractors to meet project requirements and maintain quality standards.
10. Oversee the use of in-house software for scheduling, job reports, and cost tracking.
11. Exhibit excellent attention to detail in all aspects of work.
12. Use strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate project activities and promote teamwork.
13. Manage financial aspects including invoicing, payment applications, and capturing project variations.
14. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their satisfaction.
15. Regularly report project updates to senior management and escalate client issues as necessary.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Having prior involvement in designing and installing fire alarm systems would be beneficial. Some useful systems to know include Advanced, Morley, Apollo, and Hochiki.
2. Experience in designing and implementing Access Controls - expertise in systems like Vanderbilt, Salto, and Paxton.
3. Knowledge in designing and fitting CCTV systems - familiarity with systems such as Milestone and Hikvision.
4. Experience in designing and setting up Intruder Alarms - beneficial to have experience with systems like Vanderbilt and Honeywell Galaxy.
5. Prior experience in creating and installing Emergency Lighting.

Pay: €50,000.00-€80,000.00 per year
