Primary Function / Goals / Objectives:
ID Supply Chain is executing an Enterprise Excellence program deploying principles across the organization including 6 manufacturing sites. This Program Manager plays a leadership role in ensuring that the global Enterprise Excellence program fosters a culture of continuous improvement.
Major Responsibilities:
1. Lead the strategy, execution, and ownership of the Global Shingo Program Management.
2. Support Enterprise Excellence program within the division Sustainability workstream and coordinate program deliverables.
3. Develop, communicate, and implement project plans for global programs impacting multiple sites.
4. Conduct maturity assessments and provide feedback for roadmap development.
5. Manage relationships with key consultancy groups to further the Enterprise Excellence journey.
6. Organize and lead Enterprise Excellence training for site and division personnel.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Engineering, Operations, or Business) is required or extensive equivalent experience. MBA with emphasis in Operations is a plus.
Background:
Candidates should have 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, quality operations, project management, or continuous improvement functions.
Other demonstrated experience required includes:
* Working SME knowledge of manufacturing plant and continuous improvement tools/principles.
* Ability to manage multiple continuous improvement initiatives.
* Solid project management and team leadership skills.
* Proven influencing, coaching, and mentoring capability.
* Strong analytical competencies.
* Ability to travel 30-50%.
Accountability / Scope/Budget:
This position operates with general direction and minimal supervision from the Enterprise Excellence Program Senior Manager and has full responsibility to make decisions impacting OpEx goal achievement.
