About the Role: The Business Ethics Director will drive the evolution and enhancement of the Ipsen Business Ethics Program for Italy, Greece, Cyprus & Israel.
You will guide ethical and compliant decision making, working with the leadership teams to shape an ethical culture within the Region.
Responsibilities: Understand and anticipate the business needs and evolution.
Drive and maintain ethics and compliance governance including compliance committees and support to process owners.
Provide input and advice in the development of annual Country Operational Plans.
Provide input on local code rules, processes and support for the program's effective enforcement.
Identify and mitigate ethics and compliance risks.
Implement and enhance the business ethics program including procedural documents, training, communication, and support investigations.
Guide ethical and compliant decision-making and conduct of activities.
Coordinate, mediate, and facilitate resolution and decision-making of ethics and compliance related matters between global functions and countries for globally initiated activities; conduct Annual Risk Assessment.
Qualifications: Ideal: Bachelor's or other appropriate third-level qualifications.
Experience: Proven experience in an ethics and compliance department in the pharmaceutical industry.
Experience and knowledge of local code, laws and regulations in Italy and Greece.
Knowledge of European and other important extraterritorial laws and regulations in the healthcare sector.
Knowledge of anti-bribery and anti-corruption controls environments.
Previous experience in audit/monitoring and investigations.
Experience in regional or global roles is a plus.
Languages: Italian, English, and other languages such as Greek are a plus.
External stakeholder management.
