Our client is an established construction company building medium and large-scale projects throughout Ireland.
They are a young, dynamic, innovative, award-winning, and sustainable contractor who has built many key public and private projects nationally, including primary and secondary schools, third-level campus buildings, pharmaceutical facilities, low and high-density residential projects, hotels, manufacturing facilities, life sciences, commercial utilities, high-tech, healthcare, and primary care centres.
They have a requirement for a Design Coordinator in Limerick, with both office and site-based responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
1. Work with the Design Manager to chair and minute weekly Design Team / Information meetings.
2. Collaborate with the Project Manager / Contracts Manager to ensure design information aligns with project requirement timelines.
3. Track the Design Release / Schedule of information.
4. Attend design / technical workshop meetings with subcontractors and design teams to agree on systems / products.
5. Compile Material / Technical "RDD" Submittals (MTS / TS).
6. Update the Design Submissions tracker on a minimum weekly basis.
7. Update the MTS/TS tracker.
8. Maintain the RFI tracker.
9. Liaise with the project team and Design Team, issuing agreed RFIs as required.
10. Work closely with the client's Assigned Certifier.
11. Assist with BCAR management.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Suitably qualified with Design Coordinator experience.
2. Relevant third-level qualification.
3. Main contracting or developer background preferred.
4. Candidates coming from design consulting will also be considered.
5. Driver's license.
