I am working with a highly respected recruitment partner seeking a Senior Banking Lawyer to lead their dynamic Banking & Finance department in Dublin City Centre. This is a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced legal professional to step into a high-profile leadership role at one of Dublin’s most prestigious firms.
The Role:
1. Lead a talented team of banking lawyers, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
2. Advise a diverse client base, including domestic and international banks, financial institutions, and corporate clients, on high-value and complex banking transactions.
3. Oversee a wide range of matters, including syndicated lending, asset finance, acquisition finance, project finance, regulatory compliance, and restructuring.
4. Drive business development initiatives, enhance client relationships, and play a key role in shaping the department's strategic direction.
5. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, ensuring the continued growth and development of the practice.
The Ideal Candidate:
1. Qualified solicitor with 8+ years’ PQE in Banking & Finance law, ideally from a leading law firm or in-house legal team.
2. Proven track record of managing and delivering complex banking transactions.
3. Strong leadership and team management experience, with a collaborative and inspiring approach.
4. Commercially astute, with the ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
5. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
