Finance Senior Manager
Position Summary
You will play a critical role in driving the financial strategy and performance of our company. As Finance Senior Manager, you will support the GES finance director for the Global External Supply operation.
You will partner with GES Operations leaders and other cross-functional organizations to ensure financial control and act as a key advisor to support the operations team.
You will take responsibility for the day-to-day financial operations, provide insights and recommendations to manage financial risks and opportunities, support strategic decision-making, and ensure financial health.
Key Responsibilities
1. Coodination of Annual Budgets & Forecasts: Coordinate and consolidate forecast and budget for GES, aligning with strategic corporate objectives.
2. Finance Manager for Month End & Qtr End: Provide clear and in-depth analysis on the month-end platform financials ensuring integrity in the data, critiquing of financials and clear explanations of financial performance and operational drivers.
3. Business Partnership: Partner with Platform leads to manage Financial R&O and drive resolution.
4. Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Lead designated projects on improving month-end processes, standardizing work across global FP&A and assist the introduction of and drive usage in Power BI
Organizational Relationships
GES Operations (Category Managers and Demand Planning), GMS FP&A, GMS Compliance & Technical Accounting
Requirements
Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with highly developed communication and inter-personal skills with the ability to influence and persuade through personal credibility, integrity and professionalism.
Strong finance controller and business partnership credentials operating at a similar level in industry.
Core understanding of manufacturing finance principles and a manufacturing P&L Working knowledge of Anaplan, SAP, Hyperion Financial Management and/ or Essbase is a plus.
Knowledge and/or experience in inventory, cost accounting, manufacturing environment and cost center reporting is considered an asset Knowledge of US GAAP, exposure to SOX controlled environments.
