Job Title: Part Qualified Accountant
Location: Tallaght, Dublin 24, Ireland.
Reporting to: Finance Manager
Salary: €40k - €45k
Role Purpose: As our Critical Infrastructure sector continues to expand both domestically and across Europe it has become vital for us to possess the expertise of a part qualified accountant to provide financial reporting and tax compliance support associated with large scale European projects. The role encompasses a spectrum of responsibilities, including but not limited to supporting the Finance Manager/ Finance Dept in ensuring Financial Reporting Compliance through consultation with external advisors and local finance management.
A part qualified accountant progressing towards full qualification and registered with ACA, ACCA, or CIMA is essential.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
•Support the preparation of monthly Management Accounts for numerous entities
•Reconciling and posting accounts.
•Bank, Creditor and Debtor reconciliations
•Cashflow Management
•Budget preparation and Variance Analysis
•Preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations
•Preparation of VAT returns for multiple jurisdictions
•Preparation and Maintaining of the Fixed Asset Register
•Other Ad Hoc responsibilities on request
Key Skills:
•Part Qualified Accountant studying towards qualified membership of a professional body e.g. ACA / ACCA / CIMA
•2 years’ experience working in accounting or finance roles.
•Ambitious self-starter with positive attitude, committed to pursuing a career in accountancy and a desire to progress within the organisation
•Detail orientated with strong financial and analytical skills
•Ability to work in a fast paced environment
•Organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
