Job Description:
Stock Controller & Store Person
The Stock Controller & Store Person will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring smooth operations within the store, and supporting the engineering team with timely access to materials and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels. Conduct regular stock checks and audits to ensure records are accurate. Manage stock discrepancies and report findings to management.
* Warehouse Operations: Receive and inspect deliveries for accuracy and quality. Ensure proper storage and labeling of all inventory items. Pick, pack, and prepare materials for dispatch to various departments or clients.
* General Duties: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse/store area. Assist with stock ordering and liaise with suppliers as necessary. Collaborate with the engineering team to meet project requirements.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in stock control, warehouse operations, or a similar role.
* Proficient in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel, inventory management software).
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations in warehouse operations.
