Job Title: Technical Presales Engineer - Network Security
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate individual to join our client as a Technical Presales Engineer - Network Security in Dublin. This permanent role offers an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and can lead and inspire others.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive presales success by collaborating with the security sales team to provide technical configurations for enterprise-class cybersecurity vendors.
* Manage a team of two people.
* Engage with partners to enable them to effectively sell, implement, and support our comprehensive product range.
* Facilitate the sales life cycle by working alongside partners to streamline the process and achieve technical closure when necessary.
* Enable effective communication by empowering partners to articulate vendor messages, uncover new opportunities, and successfully close deals.
* Support and train partners through ongoing sales and presales enablement, assistance at marketing events, and leveraging vendor programs for enhanced training activities.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Educational Background: An Engineering Degree or equivalent. Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet NSE4+, MCP, or VCP are desirable.
* Experience: Similar presales experience is required, with knowledge of Fortinet, Cisco, Dell, and Sophos being advantageous.
* Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with security solution deployment and management (firewall, mail, AV, WAF, sandbox, IPS, VPN), and a solid understanding of the OSI model and protocols (DNS, SMTP, HTTP, TCP/IP, IPSEC).
* Understanding of Technologies: Knowledge of NGFW, Routing, Switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, Network Security, Intrusion Detection, and Anti-Virus.
* Strong Communication Skills: Excellent spoken and written English, along with outstanding presentation and interpersonal abilities.
