We are presently recruiting for a Junior Accounts Administrator for our clients in Killarney, County Kerry. You will support the finance team with a variety of accounting and administrative tasks from processing large volumes of invoices to entering financial data to bank reconciliation. This role is ideal for someone starting their career in finance, with a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a desire to learn and grow within the company. This is a full-time, permanent position, based in Killarney.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
2. Ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions.
3. Follow up on outstanding invoices and handle discrepancies.
4. Reconcile bank statements with internal accounts.
5. Identify and resolve discrepancies.
6. Provide general administrative support to the finance team.
7. Assist with filing, mail handling, and other clerical tasks.
Qualifications and Experiences:
1. Leaving certificate as a minimum along with additional qualification relating to finance or bookkeeping.
2. Previous experience in an accounting or administrative role is a plus but not required.
3. Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
This is an early career position. Salary is competitive and will be based on the candidate’s level of experience and qualifications.
