Job Summary
We are seeking a Graduate Engineering Consultant to join WiiGroup. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across various skill sets within the business, including Planning, Lean, BIM, and Data Analytics. You will contribute to a wide range of innovative projects, gaining exposure to different sectors and technologies within the AEC industry.
We are currently looking for candidates based in Limerick, Ireland or surrounding areas willing to commute.
Responsibilities
As a Graduate Engineering Consultant at WiiGroup, your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting in the development and maintenance of project schedules, including BIM models, data analytics, and lean methodologies
* Collaborating with project teams to streamline processes and identify opportunities for process improvement
* Analysing data using tools like Power BI and assisting in reporting insights for project optimisation
* Supporting BIM implementation across multiple projects, using software such as Autodesk Revit
* Working alongside senior engineers and consultants to implement lean practices and drive efficiency in project delivery
* Assisting in the preparation of project reports, schedules, and documentation
* Contributing to the development and maintenance of digital project management tools
* Coordinating with stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and delivery
* Continuously learning and adapting to new technologies, methods, and industry trends
Our Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for this role is a recent graduate with a strong academic background in Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields. You have a keen interest in Project Management, BIM, Lean, and Data Analytics, and you are eager to apply your skills in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Strong communication, analytical, and teamwork skills are essential, and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving and continuous improvement is highly valued.
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
* 0-1 years of experience in a related position, with a strong interest in Digital Project Management, BIM, Lean, and Data Analytics
* Familiarity with project management tools (Primavera P6, Power BI, Autodesk Revit, etc.)
* Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making and project optimisation
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with stakeholders
* A proactive approach to learning and staying updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices
* Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to cross-functional project teams
