Accounts Payable & Sales Order Processing Specialist

Due to our own growth, we have a fantastic opportunity to join our Client focused Finance team as an Accounts Payable & Sales Order Processing Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounts Payable Invoice Processing: Code, match, obtain approval, and enter a large volume of purchase invoices for clients daily using ERP software, ensuring adherence to necessary controls.
2. AP Query Management: Manage the accounts payable query inbox for a portfolio of clients, ensuring all emails are responded to promptly.
3. Sales Order Processing: Process sales orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all necessary documentation and approvals are in place, including liaising with customers and the warehouse team to coordinate timely order fulfillment and address any issues that may arise.
4. Supplier Liaison: Maintain good relationships with suppliers in various countries through effective communication.
5. Employee Expense Analysis: Analyze and process employee expenses for payment.
6. Bank Account Administration: Upload payments on bank accounts and match bank payments to vendor invoices.
7. General AP Duties: Perform general accounts payable duties as required, including filing and archiving.
Qualifications, Skills & Requirements
1. A qualification in a business-related field is preferable.
2. Minimum of 3 years’ Accounts Payable experience in a busy accounts role.
3. Experience in processing large volumes of invoices and data on Excel, with a high degree of accuracy.
4. Strong numeracy and competent basic accounting skills.
5. Experience with cloud-based accounting packages.
6. Excellent computer skills - proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
7. Proven commitment to achieving deadlines.
8. Excellent organization skills and detail-oriented.
9. Have an analytical mindset.
10. Ability to work independently on projects but can still work as part of a team.
11. Strong deadline and task management.
12. Cultivate new automated processes for clients.
