As part of the New Business Team, reporting directly to the Head of Client Relationships, you’ll be the driving force behind our engagement with insurers, MGAs, and brokers. Supported by an in-house bid, marketing, and commercial finance team, you’ll take ownership of building strong client relationships, promoting the FMG brand, and delivering innovative propositions.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Champion the FMG Brand: Represent FMG as a market leader.
* Build Relationships: Target and engage insurers, MGAs, and brokers, developing multi-layered connections at all levels.
* Strategic Planning: Maintain a robust pipeline, develop tactical account plans, and drive opportunity qualification.
* Deliver Winning Proposals: Lead tender responses, pitching, and negotiation processes.
* Collaboration: Work across FMG and the broader group to maximise business opportunities.
* Innovate: Stay ahead of market trends, adapting presentations and strategies to maintain competitive advantage.

Salary: Competitive salary based on experience, enhanced by a generous bonus plus a company car or car allowance.

About You:
* Proven Sales Expertise: At least 4 years of experience in a new business role, ideally within the insurance supply chain.
* Engaging Communicator: Confident interacting with stakeholders at all levels, from operational to board level.
* Results-Driven: Target-oriented with an insatiable hunger for success.
* Strategic Mindset: Able to identify, evaluate, and capitalise on business opportunities.
* Collaborative Leader: Strong people management skills and the ability to build relationships both internally and externally.
