Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and ambitious Account Development Executive to join our commercial team. This role focuses on building strong relationships with existing accounts, driving awareness of our full product portfolio, and expanding business opportunities. The successful candidate will a commitment to results and a drive to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Account Growth and Development:
Build and nurture trust-based relationships with existing accounts, ensuring regular and meaningful interactions.
Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell our portfolio, including our new energy management solutions.
Develop and implement tailored account plans to maximise growth potential.
Customer Engagement:
Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring responsiveness and reliability.
Proactively engage with clients to understand their business goals, challenges, and priorities, positioning IMS connect’s solutions and value-added services.
Ensure smooth post-sale implementation and ongoing support to maintain high customer satisfaction.
Collaboration and Coordination:
Partner with internal teams, including technical and support staff, to deliver a seamless customer experience.
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create account-based campaigns.
Facilitate communication across departments to ensure timely resolution of customer issues and queries.
Process Orientation and Time Management:
Maintain detailed account records using CRM tools, ensuring accurate tracking of interactions and opportunities.
Prioritise tasks effectively to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
Utilise data insights to identify growth opportunities.
Key Skills and Competencies
Relationship-building and rapport development skills.
Ability to identify customer pain points and propose solutions.
Effective communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Highly organised with effective time management and ability to managed multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
Proficient in CRM tools and comfortable analysing data.
A mindset that helps you see and recognise opportunities, accountability, and commitment to delivering results.
Trained in or have a working knowledge of a sales or account management methodology.
Qualifications and Experience
1-2 years of experience in account management, account development, or customer-facing role.
Proven ability to drive growth within existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling.
Familiarity with Wi-Fi, energy management, or guest technology solutions is advantageous but not essential.
Experience in the hospitality or technology industry is a plus.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
