The Role:
We are hiring a Trade Compliance Specialist for the EMEA region who will be responsible for providing trade and customs support to Logitech’s global operations and sales network. In this role you will report directly to the Head of Global Trade Compliance. Additionally, you will support the Global Trade Compliance Services team in meeting the corporate worldwide trade compliance policies, regional policies and supply chain/logistics functions.
Your Contribution:
In this role you will:
* Support business-wide compliance of government regulations concerning import, export, trade agreements, and global operations.
* Liaise with internal departments as required on EMEA trade compliance issues affecting the business.
* Ensure that products are accurately valued for customs purposes.
* Ensure that goods are classified correctly (HTS) and that the correct classifications are recorded in the designated database.
* Assist with Country of Origin Determination and Free Trade Analysis as required.
* Liaise with Logitech Customs Brokers within the region, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed for import and coordinating with various customs authorities and Government agencies when necessary.
* Communicate information to other departments/facilities relating to shipments.
* Assist with the investigation of suspected non-compliance of customs and trade compliance laws or related company policies, and develop and test corrective actions.
Key Qualifications:
For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and experiences to our team:
* Minimum 3-5 years of trade compliance experience in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience dealing with Customs matters.
* Excellent analytical, communication, presentation, and organization skills.
* The ability to interpret large volumes of information.
* Computer literacy will be essential.
* Enthusiastic approach and the ability to deal positively with pressure.
* Strong communication (both verbal and written) and administrative skills.
* Good problem solver with strong negotiation skills.
* Experience in shipping hazardous goods and knowledge of packaging procedures and inventory management is advantageous.
