At AECOM, we are recruiting a Project Director to join us in our Cork or Galway office.
Here’s what you’ll do:
Your day-to-day will include but not be limited to the following tasks and responsibilities:
* Lead Project Management Commissions, taking responsibility for their successful delivery.
* Undertake Line Management and or supervisory responsibilities, where you will support, motivate, and mentor members of your team.
* Contribute to the management of the delivery of project management team outputs, in accordance with agreed timescales and quality standards.
* Recent experience in project delivery of RIBA Stages 0 to 7 is required.
* Manages one or more moderately complex project, involving a combination of the following:
* Clients with a regional geographic footprint;
* Projects involving multiple services provided by regional IE offices;
* Other complexities, such as projects that involve litigation, environmental protection, due diligence, etc.
* Works mostly independently but receives basic instruction on specific assignments, objectives, complex features and possible solutions.
* Receives technical guidance on unusual or complex problems and supervisory approval on proposed plans for projects.
* Consistently completes project without write-downs or multiplier erosion.
* Typically manages projects involving RTF (Risk Triggering Factors).
Sector experience/workload - healthcare and educational construction projects.

Here’s what we’re looking for:
As the successful candidate, you will have experience working within our healthcare and education markets along with having the following qualifications and experience.
* Degree Qualified – BSc or MSc – in Project Management or other construction or engineering-related profession.
* Professionally Qualified – ideally Chartered Project Manager Status with the RICS, APM, CIOB, or other equivalent institution.
