Our client, a high-growth Telecoms software business supplying a wide portfolio of OSS / BSS / Digital Transformation solutions, is looking to expand its European business and is seeking a highly motivated Sales Director to hunt for business with Telecoms Service Providers (Tier 1 and 2).
As a Sales Director, the successful candidate will prospect for new logo business using their existing Service Provider contacts, participating in events and executing outbound campaigning to build a pipeline of targeted accounts.
The person must have a successful track record of delivering against sales targets and have longevity in previous roles.

This familiarity must be demonstrated to enable appreciation of the Customer's usage of the system and their changing requirements.Able to articulate the applications ROI.Competence with Salesforce and accurate reporting.Capability to navigate a complex customer environment, mapping the key stakeholders and buying personas.Previous experience selling complex solutions - 500K-2 million USD deal sizes.Checking progress against targets, reporting as necessary, and taking action to resolve exceptions.Managing multiple potential customers of varying sizes (from Tier 1 to Tier 3 operators) and managing multiple opportunities simultaneously and effectively.The role requires regular traveling to meet with potential customers.Able to demonstrate a strong sales track record spanning at least 5 years.
