Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Location: Westmeath, Ireland
Summary:
HireForce are working with a leading international manufacturing group who are looking to fill the role of an Accounts Assistant. Reporting to the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Manager, this role involves assisting with various finance functions, including but not limited to day-to-day processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices, GRNI matching, stock write offs, reconciliations and other ad-hoc duties within the Finance Department.
Responsibilities:
1. Efficiently processing invoices, ensuring accuracy and integrity of postings in line with company policies and procedures;
2. Ensuring correct invoice/GRN/PO matching and investigating and resolving any variances;
3. Dealing with customer & supplier queries in a timely manner;
4. Preparing customer & supplier reconciliations and other general accounts receivable/payable transactions and duties within the Finance Dept;
5. Processing bank receipts from customers onto the system and related allocations;
6. Maintaining the accounts receivable & payable inbox and keeping records and filing up to date;
7. Assist in the processing of weekly and monthly supplier payment runs;
8. Assist when required with writing off stock and other stock related transactions;
9. Assisting with the review, improvement and streamlining of processes across the department;
10. Ensuring all month end tasks are complete before closing as part of the finance team;
11. Assist with the year-end and internal audit;
12. Cover other ad-hoc departmental duties as required.
Requirements:
1. Experience in processing transactions on ERP or Accounting systems required.
2. Experience in a similar role beneficial.
