The Technician Role:
Provides critical application support for Portal Infranet Billing Systems, Salesforce Service Cloud, Stripe, and other integrated platforms.
Troubleshoots incidents related to application performance, functionality, and integration.
Monitors system issues with Datadog, Kibana, and CloudWatch.
Develops and maintains shell scripts for automation and tool integration.
Analyzes complex system issues to identify root causes and proposes effective solutions.
Collaborates with development, infrastructure, and operations teams to resolve issues and implement enhancements.
Manages incidents using Opsgenie and ServiceNow, ensuring timely resolution and thorough documentation.
Requirements
A minimum of an Associate degree in computer systems management and monitoring or equivalent experience.
4 years of experience operating and supporting a complex integrated billing, payment or supply chain system.
Practical hands-on experience with trouble ticket systems, network monitoring tools, and familiarity with incident management processes.
Experience with cloud platforms and services.
Key Skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Proficiency in shell scripting and API integration for automation.
Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) for documentation and issue tracking.
Hands-on experience with Opsgenie and ServiceNow for incident management.
Knowledge of AWS services and platforms.
