Job DescriptionAn amazing opportunity has arisen for an Assoc. Scientist within the High Potency Laboratory facility.What you will do: Bring energy, knowledge, innovation and leadership to carry out the following:Generation of SOPs and laboratory practices for High Potency Laboratory.Testing of high potent samples in accordance with approved protocols/methods in compliance with cGMP.Opportunities may arise to take on a role in change or improvement projects in ADC.Assures compliance with all safety and environmental requirements, including High Potency requirements. Compliance with other regulated areas such as HR policies.Documentation of all testing activities and qualifications and to input results into computerised laboratory systems.Completion of the investigation of laboratory deviations in line with procedures.Complete documentation checks as required for test package prior to release.Identification and aid resolution of analytical issues within the laboratory.Analytical testing resource for the wider Analytical Development and Commercialization (ADC) department as required.What skills you will need:In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have:BSc in Chemistry or related discipline and relevant experienceKnowledge of High Potency testing and working in High Potency laboratory is preferred.Have knowledge of GMP standardsHave knowledge Laboratory safety standards.Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal.Strong documentation skills are required.Must be motivated, focused and technically strong.To perform analytical testing with a high degree of precision and accuracyTo maintain accurate records in compliance with ALCOA principles and GMP expectationsTo understand and internalise procedures relevant to GMP operations.To communicate clearly and concisely on technical issuesOn assignment, to manage specific department projects.To liaise, as required, effectively with all groups – showing good team and interpersonal skills.As a company, we are committed to ‘Inventing for Life’ in all that we do.
