A fast-growing, acquisition-driven professional services firm is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead financial strategy, drive systems optimisation, and ensure seamless integration of acquired firms.
This is an ideal opportunity for a senior finance leader with strong M&A experience looking to step into a CFO role in a high-growth environment .
The firm is scaling rapidly, leveraging acquisitions and technology to establish itself as a market leader.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Financial Leadership Develop and implement financial strategies to support rapid growth, including acquisitions and new client onboarding.
Partner with the leadership team to optimise financial and operational foundations for scalability.
M&A and Integration Oversee financial due diligence for acquisitions, ensuring strong commercial evaluation.
Design and execute integration plans, focusing on systems and processes to enable smooth onboarding of acquired firms.
Financial Systems and Process Optimisation Lead financial systems development, including migration projects for efficiency and scalability.
Oversee the use of Xero and other financial platforms, implementing best practices for multi-entity reporting.
Continuously refine processes to support a growing, remote-enabled workforce.
Regulatory and Compliance Oversight Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, working closely with compliance bodies.
Implement and maintain best practices in financial governance and risk management.
Corporate Finance and Advisory Expand corporate finance capabilities, leveraging existing client traction.
Support financial structuring, tax efficiency, and strategic planning initiatives.
Team Leadership and Growth Manage and develop internal and outsourced finance resources.
Build capacity to support continued expansion through strategic hiring and partnerships.
Key Requirements Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA) with significant post-qualification experience.
Strong corporate finance and M&A experience, particularly in due diligence and integration.
Proven track record of leading financial strategy in a growing business, ideally through acquisitions.
Experience in financial systems migration and optimisation, with knowledge of Xero or similar platforms .
Understanding of regulated environments and compliance requirements.
A decisive, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth setting.
