Job Title: Technical Sales Engineer

Role Profile
* Develop and execute a country-wide sales strategy.
* Target key accounts and opportunities with a view to winning profitable contracts.
* Manage pipeline and forecasting of commercial sector projects.
* Development of tender to sales opportunity to negotiation stage, with technical understanding of solution in line with specifications, site and commercial requirements.
* Create and maintain highly productive relationships and partnerships with new and existing clients.
* Specific focus on commercial sector including:
* Create a demand generation marketing plan to identify and follow up on market opportunities.
* Report to the Managing Director as part of commercial team on a regular basis and as part of group reporting requirements.
* Report and share information with the management board to ensure they are kept fully informed on the service upgrades market conditions and important factors influencing it.
* Technical and industry knowledge to ensure systems, designs and technical capabilities are in line with industry. This includes understanding of social, economic, trending and technological advancements.
* Innovation and solution led mentality with high commercial awareness.
* Experience working to budgets / targets.
Key Skills
* Previous experience in the Building Management Systems and/or HVAC.
* Strong sales and negotiation skills, with proven track record of sales in similar field.
* Exceptional technical knowledge of BMS and HVAC principles.
* Ability to take tender to sale independently.
* Understanding of BMS systems (Tridium / TREND / ABB / Schneider / Distech etc).
* Proven ability to increase revenue in the M&E industry.
* Ability to build rapport with clients, understanding their needs and gathering the information required to create an innovative, technical solution.
* A qualification in Building Services, Mechanical or other relevant Engineering discipline would be a distinct advantage.
