Our client is a leading development agency seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead their finance team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will hold a professional accountancy qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) and possess excellent project management skills.
About the Role
The Finance Manager will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer, overseeing the team responsible for financial reporting, asset management, payroll, and expenses. Key tasks include:
* Producing timely and accurate financial statements and reports
* Managing payroll and expense functions
* Leading and developing a team of finance professionals
* Liaising with internal and external auditors
* Maintaining accurate records of fixed assets and monitoring depreciation
* Implementing and maintaining effective financial systems and controls
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
* Fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, including internal clients, external auditors, and regulatory bodies
Key Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A recognized accountancy qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
* Excellent leadership and management skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A full driving license
