Clinical Tutor/Lecturer in Gastroenterology
This is a full-time 12-month appointment, renewable to a maximum of two further years subject to satisfactory performance. The successful candidate will participate in the development, direction, teaching, facilitation and examinations of the graduate entry and direct entry medicine teaching programmes.
Responsibilities:
* Contributing to the clinical teaching programme in the junior, intermediate and senior cycle of the four and five year teaching programmes
* Contributing to the assessment of students in the junior, intermediate and senior cycles of the four and five year programmes
* Liaising with heads of department, project leaders for clinical competence and other relevant faculty members in planning, delivering and evaluating teaching programmes
Requirements:
* Possess evidence of registration with the Irish Medical Council
* Possess a keen interest in lecturing and interacting with undergraduate students
* Possess excellent communication skills
Additional Requirements:
* OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH CLEARANCE
* Garda Vetting Police Clearance (if in residence outside of Ireland for periods of 6 months or more at any stage)
