Assistant Store Manager
This is a key role for an ambitious individual looking to progress to store management within 12 months.
Main Responsibilities:
* Ensure the efficient operation of the store, delivering exceptional customer service and a high-quality food offering in a clean and safe environment.
* Set, monitor, and achieve sales targets with the team on gross profit margin, net margin, waste, and other Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as agreed with the Store Manager.
* Implement planograms correctly and maintain an accurate range in-store.
* Support the Store Manager in developing and training the team, ensuring smooth store operations.
* Understand and achieve margins across all departments.
* Embrace new initiatives and adopt innovative working methods.
Requirements:
* Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a management position.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
* Experience managing cash/tills.
* Effective delegation skills.
* Understanding of how to achieve KPIs and targets.
