Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Conduct in-depth research to stay up-to-date with tax law changes and legislation.
2. Maintain effective communication with clients to gather information and provide guidance on their options.
3. Represent clients in interactions with the Office of the Revenue Commissioners.
4. Analyse and complete tax forms with accuracy.
5. Perform thorough audits of clients' tax records.
6. Advise clients on strategies to minimize their tax liability.
7. Develop and deliver presentations and reports for clients.
8. Oversee the growth and management of the tax department.
9. Ensure seamless tax compliance obligations are met.
10. Lead tax advisory projects and produce high-quality tax reports.
11. Implement succession planning initiatives.
Qualifications and Professional Development:
12. Possess a CTA qualification (ACA/ACCA/CPA additional qualification preferred).
13. Demonstrate strong technical knowledge and a commitment to ongoing tax knowledge development.
14. Exhibit exceptional business development and client management skills.
15. Show ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
16. Pursue ongoing structured internal and external tax technical training.
