This position is based in our new state of the art Head Office in Maynooth - an open plan office, with wonderful collaborative working areas, subsidised canteen, EV charging points, and is easily accessible by car or public transport.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
1. Strategic Leadership:
o Lead strategic planning initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, business development, market research, and identification of new business growth opportunities.
2. Corporate Strategy Development:
o Oversee the development and updates of the company's corporate strategy, ensuring alignment with the overall vision and mission.
o Develop in-depth integrated strategy and financial plans for ExCo and Board review.
o Lead the organisation’s progress on strategic priorities to ensure alignment with long-term business objectives.
3. Business Development and Market Analysis:
o Identify new business opportunities, markets, and potential corporate partnerships to drive revenue growth.
o Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to inform financial and strategic decision-making.
4. Change Management:
o Lead change management initiatives associated with large-scale corporate projects and organisational transformations.
o Ensure changes are effectively communicated and implemented across the company to promote understanding and engagement at all levels.
5. Collaboration with Leadership:
o Work closely with ExCo and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to ensure the successful execution and implementation of strategic initiatives.
Requirements
1. Professional Skills:
o Proven experience in strategic finance, corporate development, and M&A.
o Strong leadership and partnership-building skills, with experience collaborating with public and private sector stakeholders.
o Experience in market analysis, financial planning, and corporate strategy.
o Knowledge of digital transformation strategies and tools.
o Excellent communication and change management skills.
o Ability to oversee complex projects and manage multiple stakeholders.
o Proficient in financial modelling and valuation techniques.
