Alliance Automotive Group is a leading distributor of light and commercial vehicle parts to the independent aftermarket in France, Germany, Poland, and the UK. We service independent repairers, body shops, auto centres, fast fit companies, and end consumers with parts and equipment through a network of national and regional logistics platforms as well as networks of local distributors comprising its own subsidiaries and independent affiliates.
Job Description:
We currently have a vacancy for an Operations Support within our central Operations function. The department’s objective is to support and develop the operational functions at all subsidiaries across the UK.
Key accountabilities:
1. Assist in ensuring set business processes are actioned across the network of subsidiary sites.
2. Provide training on all new/existing procedures at new/existing sites.
3. Assist with the roll out of any system development projects.
4. Assist with ongoing refurbishment/relocation projects.
5. Facilitate communication on inventory and timelines for project staff.
6. Effectively assist with the integration of newly acquired businesses.
7. Establish immediate needs required to start the centralisation of stock holding.
8. Raise concerns regarding size/suitability/safety of new sites.
9. MAM system training pre- and post- centralisation.
10. Relay issues and potential improvements to the senior management team.
The key accountabilities are intended as a summary of the role and are not an exhaustive list of duties. The post holder is expected to undertake any tasks and responsibilities as required and deemed appropriate by the business.
Desired Requirements:
1. Knowledge of MAM Autopart.
2. Excellent communication and coordination skills.
3. Strong written and verbal skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
4. Capable of ensuring a high standard of housekeeping within the branch.
5. Experience in a similar operational role preferred.
6. Full-time position – Mon – Fri – 45 hrs per week - occasional weekend work.
7. Salary Competitive / Negotiable (Depending on experience).
8. 23 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays per annum.
