Your Impact
We are looking for a talented Senior Cloud Infrastructure Operations Engineer to join our R&D team. In this role, you will:
* Design, build, and manage secure and scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS and/or Azure.
* Lead database operations and performance improvements, focusing primarily on Oracle environments.
* Drive automation and scalability through Infrastructure as Code best practices.
What You’ll Do
In addition to the above, you’ll focus on the following:
* Design, deploy, and manage scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS, in the future Azure.
* Manage cloud services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation, Lambda, and Azure equivalents.
* Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools.
* Perform tuning, backup, recovery, migrations, and upgrades on Oracle databases.
* Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Ansible and Terraform.
* Ensure cloud and database environments follow best practices in security, including IAM, SAML, OAuth, JWT, and SCIM.
* Support and troubleshoot production environments in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
* Manage networking configurations including subnets, routing, VPNs, and DNS.
* Document processes and mentor junior team members.
What You'll Bring
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in software engineering or a related field.
* Over 10 years of experience in product development and/or database administration.
* Hands-on experience with AWS cloud platform. Azure as well would be a plus.
* Proficiency with Oracle databases and administration.
* Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
* Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash).
* Exposure to other databases like DynamoDB or MongoDB is a plus.
* Ability to work collaboratively across teams and clearly communicate complex topics.
* Strategic thinking with a creative and analytical mindset.
