Purchasing Administrator/Retail Master Data Specialist Overview: This role is responsible for developing and maintaining master data management processes and standards across the retail business.
This is a full-time role, within the Procurement function of the Retail business.
This role is based in the Citywest Support Office with hybrid of work from home and office location and reports into the Commercial projects manager. Responsibilities: Responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining master data for the Retail business enabling effective decision making and operational efficiency.
Ensure the accuracy, consistency and completeness of master data across the EPOS system for products and suppliers.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements and standards.
Monitor and analyse master data to monitor data quality and discrepancies and conduct regular data audits working with buyers and suppliers.
Ensure master data processes and procedures are established and enforced.
Ensure promotional pricing is uploaded to the system with accurate pricing on buy and sell side.
Identify data quality issues and work with relevant teams to resolve them.
Build and maintain strong relationships with other departments in the business.
Participate in system upgrades and enhancements related to master data management to improve processes and workflows.
Support the Retail Category team regarding data administration requests.
Serve as a point of contact for master data related queries and provide guidance to stakeholders.
Any other projects and duties where they arise.
Knowledge and Experience: 2+ years' experience in master data management, data analysis or a similar role preferably in retail.
Proficiency with Touchstore EPOS software a distinct advantage.
Must be detail oriented with a commitment to data accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience in pharmacy retail a distinct advantage Bachelor's degree in business or related study preferable.
Excellent Microsoft office and reporting skills.
