As the Innovation Chef here you will be developing innovative future food for global consumers.
Here you will be working on the exploratory development of innovative culinary concepts.
You’ll be part of a talented culinary team linking gastronomy with trends, consumer insight, and food science to create innovative new products for the future.
It’s fast-paced and challenging as you’ll be involved in a diverse range of projects across all food and drink categories.
On average you’ll spend three days a week in the development kitchen, experimenting with new ideas. This will involve investigating and testing new and novel ingredients and innovative cooking methods. You’ll research to identify forthcoming trends and understand how to translate these into successful new products.
You’ll be involved in high profile presentations showcasing innovative new products.
You’ll be working Monday – Friday days, mainly on site with the odd day home-working or travelling.
What do you need to succeed?
If the MasterChef skills test never phases you, that’s a great start. You’ll need to be an accomplished Chef with a broad range of culinary experience.
You’ll have a proven track record of creating innovative new dishes that really push the boundaries.
Naturally curious, you love experimenting in the kitchen. You’re not afraid to make mistakes and are tenacious in creating the perfect dish. You’re a logical thinker who loves problem solving.
Always hungry to learn you’re a real team player, able to share ideas, learn from others, and form strong relationships across the business.
